We always appreciate donations to the Men’s Shed but some donations cause more of a burden than delivering a benefit.

Those of benefit to us include:

• New and relatively new power tools and machines in working order,
• Hand tools in reasonable condition,
• Assorted drill bits, nails, screws, fixings
• Timber of a quality suitable for recycling into usable furniture items,

Those which we do not accept include:

• Electronic items (TVs, stereos and speakers, kitchen appliances etc.,) that are intended for E-waste, which is next door to Shed West.
• Particle board, craftwood (MDF),
• Power tools in a state of disrepair,
• Paints, oils, solvents and other hazardous waste materials.

Of interest is the fact that we do certain furniture repairs, but not furniture restorations. If in doubt check in at the Shed with your query.
